What Burnaby's session names mean
  • Lap Swim (8 years and older): all lanes for length swimming unless noted.
  • Aquafit (14+): included with pool admission; reserve online or by phone, drop-ins welcome if there is space.
  • Family Swim: children with guardians 16 and older.
  • Leisure Swim / Leisure Only Swim: leisure pool only, no lap lanes.
  • Loonie Swim: all ages; "swim, whirl, sauna and steam for only a dollar" per the City.

  • Aquafit: reserve online or by phone 2 days in advance starting at 11 am (Burnaby residents) or 1 day in advance starting at 11 am (non-residents); no waitlist; pay on arrival; drop-ins welcome subject to space; arriving 5 minutes after start = not admitted. source
